Exercise is a key component of this lifestyle, and many people are looking to determine how much of the population participates in exercise regularly. In 2017, the NOC*NSF conducted a survey to measure how many Dutch people exercised weekly.

The NOC*NSF survey was conducted by the Netherlands Olympic Committee in 2017. It surveyed a representative sample of the Dutch population and asked them to report how often they exercised. The survey results showed that 79% of the Dutch population exercised on a weekly basis in 2017. This is lower than the 82% found in the 2013 survey.
The survey also found that the highest proportion of people who exercised regularly were between the ages of 18 and 25. This group reported exercising at least once a week at a rate of 88%. The lowest rate of regular exercise was found among those over 65, with a rate of only 60%.
