Samsung produces the greatest low-cost Android phones, with the Galaxy A series selling millions of units each year. Samsung phased out the Galaxy J series two years ago, and those smartphones were merged into the Galaxy A series as well, resulting in a lineup that now includes devices under $100.
Over the previous year, the Galaxy A51 and A71 have gained popularity as potential consumers opted for the Galaxy A51 or A71 over the Galaxy S20 series to save money.
Samsung has added a few new features to the Galaxy A32, including a 90Hz AMOLED screen and a 64MP camera on the back. Samsung highlights the device’s high refresh rate as a differentiator.
The Galaxy A32 also boasts improved hardware and an unbeatable feature that will ensure it outsells all other affordable phones: global availability. The Galaxy S32 will be available in almost every nation where Samsung conducts business, and the South Korean company sells phones in over 150 countries.
Samsung A32: Price and Availability
On January 13, 2021, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A32. The price of Samsung A32 in Tunisia for TND 859.
The gadget is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G80 chipset.
However, keep in mind that the above-mentioned smartphone’s pricing is not fixed and may fluctuate over time. Also, understand that different dealers, stores, or retail outlets may have other additions or subtractions to the device’s pricing.
Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Violet are the four color options for the Galaxy A32.
Samsung A32: A renaissance device in a world of cheap phones, with two-day battery life and reliable cameras.
Over the last 18 months, Samsung has consistently updated the designs of the Galaxy A series, and the Galaxy A32 is no exception. The phone has a simple appearance and borrows the Galaxy S21 series’ camera rings, but there is no casing; the rings protrude directly from the chassis.
The phone includes 4 cameras, with three sensors stacked vertically and the fourth module positioned above the LED flash unit to the right. It’s a unique design, and while the Awesome Black version is quite plain, the blue and violet color options pop a little more. When using the Galaxy A32 on a surface level, the lack of a camera enclosure has one advantage: minimal shaking.
The back is composed of plastic, and there are no subtle bends where the rear joins the mid-frame this time. While the frame has a metallic feel to it, it is also composed of plastic. Samsung chose a more rectangular shape.
As a result, despite having a big 5000mAh battery, the phone is relatively light at 184g.
The Galaxy A32 is a terrific phone to hold and operate, with a height of 158.9mm, a width of 73.6mm, and a thickness of 8.4mm. While the phone includes an in-screen fingerprint sensor, it takes a second for the sensor to confirm your biometrics and unlock Samsung phone, which is a good feature. Software-assisted face unlock is also available, which is speedier but less secure.
The volume and power buttons are on the right side of the Galaxy A32, and they’re easy to reach while using the phone. Along with the USB-C connector and the speaker, there’s a 3.5mm jack on the bottom, and Samsung includes a full-width SIM card tray with two SIM cards and a microSD slot.
The Galaxy A32 features a waterdrop cutout on the front and a thick bottom bezel. Samsung’s flagships now have hole-punch cutouts, while the A32 has the older Infinity-U cutout, which doesn’t look as modern. The display, however, is the star of the show, with Samsung introducing a 90Hz AMOLED panel for the first time in this market.
The phone sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and you can choose between Vivid and Natural screen modes and manually adjust the color temperature. Unfortunately, the screen is set to the regular 60Hz refresh rate out of the box, so you’ll have to modify it to 90Hz in the settings.
The panel is just as good as the A31 from last year, with brilliant colors and high contrast levels. The 90Hz refresh rate makes a noticeable difference in a few instances, such as scrolling via social media or browsing Chrome.
The 64MP camera on the rear of the Samsung Galaxy A32 is a huge differentiator. The primary lens is in the center of the camera array, above the 8MP wide-angle lens and below the 5MP portrait lens. The 5MP macro lens is located above the LED flash module on the right. There’s also a 20MP front camera, the same as the Galaxy A31 from last year. In addition, the camera interface is identical to last year’s, including timer, flash, beauty effect shooting modes, and toggles.
On the hardware front, it’s good to see that Samsung ships the Galaxy A32 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Unfortunately, the base model of the 5G version has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, so you’ll have to pay a little more to obtain 128GB of storage and additional memory.
The Galaxy A32 easily lasts over a day on a single charge, thanks to a 5000mAh battery. The one drawback is that with 15W fast charging, you’ll need to leave the phone plugged in overnight to get a full charge; this isn’t a device that will charge in under an hour.
Samsung also made some welcome software updates, with the Galaxy A32 running One UI 3.1 out of the box, which is based on Android 11. You get all of the features here, and the interface is sleek and modern. Samsung’s latest UI upgrade doesn’t make many visual changes, but it does a fantastic job integrating all of Android 11’s new capabilities.
The Galaxy A32’s best feature will receive three guaranteed Android updates and four years of security updates. Samsung is the de facto leader in this space, and while the A32 won’t be the first to get the Android 12 upgrade, it will get more updates than almost any other phone in this class.
